2004 Holidayz Diary (3)
it's been a fast week... christmas is already over... it has been somehow a wonderful yet terrible week... 22 December 2004: went back to school to get uniform... ok, not really uniform... i've already bought the new uniform... the fabric is so thick, and i can't imagine how much sweat will i produce when school reopens next year at 3 january... went back to school to get the collar pin and the pe attire... it was such a coincidence, sec 1 registration, and i mean the new ones... on my way to school, there was one of the sec 1s who was from my primary school, was taking the same bus as me with his mother... and guess what, they dont even know which bus stop to alight... i was available there, but i think they did not notice me... well, at least they alighted at the right stop, or else they would have to walk quite a distance... the bookshop was open and 6 queues were formed for the sec 1s to get their textbooks and uniform... i wasnt in the queue coz it's too long, so wait a while after the crowd starts to disperse... caught a glimpse of the new pe attire, at least much better than the old one... made of jersey-like cloth... but i still dont really like the pants, although overall it was much better than the old pe attire with a very awkward colour of orange and red... now with the new colour of black and white, it looks more decent than the previous one... and the collar pin was just the school logo, nothing much but it costs a buck... man, that's crazy to sell a piece of metal to be put on your collar for 1 buck... 24 December 2004: christmas eve... a nice way to spend the night: a trip to orchard road... it's quite a yearly affair for me to get to orchard road to catch the christmas spirit... however, that night i caught too much of the christmas spirit... thanks to party-goers spraying canned snow everywhere... it makes me feel like vomitting coz i just got a little cough and the smell make me feel so terrible, i had to cough the mucus out of my throat... damn those crazy people for making my christmas eve so sickening... luckily managed to catch the bus no. 36 and made a trip to the airport... (!!!) what a different way to spend christmas eve... took the train home from T2, and guess what, christmas midnight when i got home... i should have known that there would be tons of people at orchard road... the news next day: orchard road full of people, causing traffic jams... i was so glad that i wasnt there that night... 25 December 2004: christmas... spending the whole day in my relative's house... lunch and dinner all done there... television and aircon spree... i like it... how well, maybe i should reconsider how will i spend christmas next year... pic of the day: sunset (setting for the new year...)

2004 Earthquake of the Century
it's so unfortunate that the earthquake of the century happened in asia, especially in the poor countries of india and sri lanka. the earthquake measures 9.0 in the richter scale, causing massive tsunamis from its epicentre neart banda aceh, sumatra, affecting 8 countries {indonesia, malaysia, thailand, myanmar, india, bangladesh, sri lanka, the maldives} it was a terrible tragedy where more than 23, 000 people were dead due to the strong forces of the tsunamis which sweeps the shores of these countries... hereby i take this chance to pay tribute to the dead, the injured and the homeless... may u be able to survive through this tragedy... may god bless everybody... pic: the tragic of patong beach, phuket island, thailand

Holiday Endzy 2004
time flies realy fast, another 2 more weeks before school reopens... the 2-month long holidays are coming to an end... so how i feel so reluctant to go back to school, see those funny faces of the teachers... but at least i will not be doing nothing most of the time at home when school reopens... i still have not finished my holiday homework, thanks to chem teacher... some of the questions very funny, and some of them i think i have not seen any of its kind... well, still have to try and finish it, cant really get my brains working yet... should be functioning in a few days' time... btw, singapore idol has finally ended "ages ago"... i voted for taufik only once coz i know that he's going to win it, and he really did with a stagerring difference of 24% of the votes... vote once coz i want 2 save money, dont spend too much on this kind of things where you do not have any benefits from it... (haha!) the tech now very good, got mp3 players and thumbdrives... just gt a creative zen micro 5gb, more than enough for me, coz i dont really have a lot of songs, just only about 280... getting a new computer in a few weeks' time... this com i using now got quite some problems... the date/time of the computer always resets to the defaults and hangs quite often, even worse, cant even shut down properly and only can shut down during the second attempt... quite looking forward to the new com... i do hope that next year would be better and hoep that the teachers would be much better, coz got some teachers going to be changed... just make sure that they dont make me feel so agitated inside me...
